An invisible minority leaves itself open as easy prey for those individuals who would deny us our freedom, our very existence.
- Judy Tallwing McCarthy
This a challenging time and we need your help.
With the museum closed, there is no revenue from admission sales. And with many events cancelled or scaled down, we have lost a significant portion of our funding. Please consider a donation today to help continue the work of collecting and preserving the history and culture of leather, kink, BDSM and fetish. We appreciate you and your support, and are pleased to offer several acknowledgement gifts to recognize your generosity.
Visibility matters. The Leather Archives & Museum was founded to ensure that the marginalized leather, kink and fetish communities have a place for their stories to be collected and preserved, a place where their history can be seen and bear witness to the individuals and organizations that others have tried to hide and destroy.
